OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Labour dated September 23, 1999, pursuant to

Section 6 of

Chapter 141 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Electrical Installation and Inspection Act, is pleased to: (

a) approve the repeal by the Fire Marshall of the Electrical Code Regulations approved by Order in Council 78-138 dated February 14, 1978; and (

b) approve new regulations respecting electrical and cabling installations made by the Fire Marshall in the form set forth in

Schedule "A" attached to the forming part of the report and recommendation effective on, from and after October 4, 1999, except for

Section 9(2) which is effective on, from and after March 1, 2000.
