OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Labour and Workforce Development dated January 7, 2010, and pursuant to
Section 68 of
Chapter 7 of the Acts of 1996, the Occupational Health and Safety Act, is pleased to: (
a) appoint Geradette Brown of River Ryan, Cape Breton Regional Municipality, to the list of persons eligible to be designated as an employee member of an Occupational Health and Safety Appeal Panel, for a term of three (3) years commencing February 9, 2010; (
b) appoint Robert H. Wells of Northport, Cumberland County, to the list of persons eligible to be designated as an employee member of an Occupational Health and Safety Appeal Panel, for a term of three (3) years commencing February 9, 2010; (
c) appoint Darren Gardiner of Sydney, Cape Breton Regional Municipality, to the list of persons eligible to be designated as an employer member of an Occupational Health and Safety Appeal Panel, for a term of three (3) years commencing February 9, 2010; and (
d) appoint Janet Hartlen of Liverpool, Queens County, to the list of persons eligible to be designated as an employer member of an Occupational Health and Safety Appeal Panel, for a term of three (3) years commencing February 9, 2010; (
e) appoint Robert McArel of Dartmouth, Halifax Regional Municipality, to the list of persons eligible to be designated as an employer member of an Occupational Health and Safety Appeal Panel, for a term of three (3) years commencing February 9, 2010; and (
f) fix the remuneration of the above appointees at $150.00 per day while attending to the business of acting as a member of an Occupational Health and Safety Appeal Panel, in addition to reasonable expenses incurred in the course of carrying out their duties for an appeal panel.
