OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Environment and Climate Change and the Minister of Natural Resources and Renewables dated November 16, 2022, and pursuant to

Section 14 of

Chapter 438 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Special Places Protection Act , is pleased to approve the designation by the Minister of Environment and Climate Change, effective on and after December 9, 2022, of: (

a) an ecological site to be known as Big Meadow Brook Nature Reserve, in the form set forth in

Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation; (

b) an ecological site to be known as Barneys River Nature Reserve, in the form set forth in

Schedule “B” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation; (

c) an ecological site to be known as Cherry Hill Beach Nature Reserve, in the form set forth in

Schedule “C” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation; (

d) an ecological site to be known as Glendyer Nature Reserve, in the form set forth in

Schedule “D” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation; (

e) an ecological site to be known as Les Caps Nature Reserve, in the form set forth in

Schedule “E” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation; and (

f) an ecological site to be known as Porcupine Brook Nature Reserve, in the form set forth in

Schedule “F” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation.
