EXPLANATORY NOTES

This Bill would amend the Registered Nurses Act, 2008 to allow the

council, with the approval of the minister, to make regulations respecting scope

of practice of registered nurses.

Be it enacted by the Lieutenant-Governor and

House of Assembly in Legislative Session convened, as follows:

as amended

1. Paragraph 11(1)(

a) of the Registered Nurses Act, 2008 is repealed and the following

substituted:

(

a) the registration, licensing and scope of

practice of registered nurses;
