OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Labour dated March 7, 2000, pursuant to subsections 17 (1), (2) and (3) and

Section 18 of

Chapter 246 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Labour Standards Code, and

Section 17 and subsection 18(1) of

Chapter 235 of the said Revised Statutes, the

Interpretation Act, is pleased to: (

a) revoke the appointment of Henry Martell as a member of the Labour Standards Tribunal (Nova Scotia) in respect of all matters pending or coming before the Tribunal effective April 1, 2000; (

b) appoint Chris M. Scott of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a member of the Labour Standards Tribunal (Nova Scotia) for a term of office of three (3) years effective April 1, 2000; (

c) fix the remuneration of Chris M. Scott at $100.00 per day for each day in attendance at a hearing of the Labour Standards Tribunal (Nova Scotia) plus actual and reasonable expenses incurred in the discharge of his duties; (

d) revoke the appointment of Ann Hebb as a member of the Labour Standards Tribunal (Nova Scotia) in respect of all matters pending or coming before the Tribunal effective April 1, 2000; (

e) appoint E.A. Nelson Blackburn of Bedford, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a member of the Labour Standards Tribunal (Nova Scotia) for a term of office of three (3) years, effective April 1, 2000; and (

f) fix the remuneration of E.A. Nelson Blackburn at $100.00 per day for each day in attendance at a hearing of the Labour Standards Tribunal (Nova Scotia) plus actual and reasonable expenses incurred in the discharge of his duties.
