MARTIN First Reading Second Reading Committee of the Whole Third Reading Royal Assent Bid Mr. Martin BILL ALBERTA COLLEGE OF ART AUTONOMY ACT (Assented to , 1983) HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, enacts as follows: 1 The Colleges Act is amended by this Act. 2 The following is added after section 2(3):

(4) The Alberta College of Art in Calgary is a public college. 3 The following is added after

section 21.1(2):

(2.1) The Alberta College of Art Faculty Association is esta blished as a corporation for the purposes of this Act. 4 This Act comes into force on Proclamation. Explanatory Notes This Bill will amend

chapter C-18 of the Revised Statutes of Alberta 1980. 2 Establishes the Alberta College of Art as a public college. 3 Incorporates the college faculty association. 4 Coming into force. Title: 1983 (20th, 1st) Bill 232, Alberta College of Art Autonomy Act
