OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated May 6, 2003, pursuant to

Section 16 of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act, is pleased to: (

a) approve the issuance of a lease by the Minister of Natural Resources of a parcel of Crown land containing 55.7 square meters (600 square feet), more or less, the exact location and area to be determined upon survey, situate at Port Mouton, Queens County, and shown outlined in red on the plan marked

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation, to the Region of Queens Municipality, a body corporate, with its head office at Liverpool, Queens County, its successors, trustees and permitted assigns for the purpose of maintaining a water hole and dry hydrant, and for no other purpose, for a term of ten (10) years at the annual rent of five dollars ($5.00) per acre, with a minimum annual rent of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) with the right to renew the lease for a further ten (10) year term at a rent to be fixed by the Lessor, provided that the Lessee has satisfactorily complied with terms and conditions of the lease; and (

b) authorize the Minister of Natural Resources to execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
