OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health and Wellness dated June 24, 2014, and pursuant to clauses 13(1)(

a) and (

c) of

Chapter 197 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Health Services and Insurance Act, is pleased to authorize the Minister of Health and Wellness to: (

a) increase by 2% the clinical portion of the Academic Funding Plan (AFP) funding in effect as of April 1, 2014, for the QEII Department of Anaesthesia, the IWK Department of Anaesthesia - Women's and Obstetrics Division, the IWK Department of Pediatric Anaesthesia and Critical Care, the QEII Department of Critical Care, the QEII Department of Family Medicine, the QEII and IWK Division of Neurosurgery, the Department of Gynecology - Oncology, the Department of Pediatrics, the Department of Psychiatry, the Department of Radiation Oncology, the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and the Department of Medicine; and (

b) increase by 2% the stabilization funding in effect as of April 1, 2014, for the Divisions of QEII Otolaryngology and IWK Surgery within the Surgery AFP.
