Statute: Expenditure Control Act Provincial Finance Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Finance dated August 13, 1998, pursuant to subsection 12(4) of

Chapter 4 of the Acts of 1993, the Expenditure Control Act, and subsection 64(1) and clause 64(2)(

f) of

Chapter 365 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Provincial Finance Act, is pleased to: (

a) establish a fund to be called the Disbursement of Surplus Fund; (

b) deposit to the credit of the Disbursement of Surplus Fund from the Special Reserve Account such sum or sums as the Minister may deem appropriate; and (

c) pay out of the Disbursement of Surplus Fund such sum or sums as the Minister may deem appropriate to provide for a return of taxes received by the Province.
