B.C. Reg. 374/2005, deposited December 19, 2005, pursuant to the WORKERS COMPENSATION ACT [Sections 25 and 25.2]. Regulation of the Workers' Compensation Board, dated December 2, 2005.

WHEREAS sections 25 and 25.2 of the Workers Compensation Act ("Act") requires the Board to determine as of January 1, 2006, a percentage change by comparing the Consumer Price Index for October 2005 with the Consumer Price Index for October 2004 and by applying that percentage change to adjust those periodic payments of compensation referred to in

section 25 (3), and to adjust dollar amounts in the Act referred to in

section 25.2 (1);

AND

WHEREAS the Board is advised that the Consumer Price Index for October 2004 was 125.2 and for October 2005 was 128.5, giving a percentage change of 2.635783 percent, and subtracting 1 percent gives a percentage change of 1.635783 percent;

AND

WHEREAS B.C. Reg. 41/2005 amended dollar amounts described in

section 25.2 (1) as of February 11, 2005, as shown in column 1 below;

THE BOARD HEREBY DETERMINES THAT B.C. Reg. 558/2004 shall be repealed as of January 1, 2006;

AND THAT the percentage change applicable under

section 25 (1) (

b) is 1.635783 percent;

AND THAT all periodic payments of compensation described in

section 25 (3) shall be adjusted by applying the percentage change of 1.635783 as of January 1, 2006;

AND THAT the percentage change applicable under

section 25.2 (1) is 2.635783 percent;

AND THAT all dollar amounts referred to in

section 25.2 (1) of the Act, shall be adjusted by applying the percentage change of 2.635783 as of January 1, 2006, as follows:
