OIC Text: The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice dated November 28, 2023, and pursuant to Sections 13 and 15 of
Chapter 31 of the Acts of 2004, the Police Act, is pleased, effective February 13, 2024, to: (
a) reappoint Simon MacDonald, K.C. of Cape Breton Regional Municipality (Northside East Bay) as a member and designate him as Vice-chair of the Nova Scotia Police Review Board for a term of three (3) years; and (
b) order that Simon MacDonald, K.C. be remunerated at the rate of $175.00 per day plus necessary expenses incurred in fulfilling his duties as member and designated Vice-chair of the Nova Scotia Police Review Board provided such reimbursements do not exceed those normally payable to members of the civil service.
