OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Finance dated September 22, 2006, and pursuant to

Section 13 of

Chapter 31 of the Acts of 1996, the Sales Tax Act, is pleased to amend the Sales Tax Act Regulations, N.S. Reg. 33/97, made by the Governor in Council by Order in Council 97-208 dated April 1, 1997, to implement the federal reduction in the harmonized sales tax blended rate and to correct the rebate amount for firefighting equipment, in the manner set forth in

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation, effective on and after July 1, 2006.
