OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Economic Development dated July 21, 2004, pursuant to Sections 2(a), (b), (e), 6, 16(1)(

b) and (g), and 34(1)(

f) of

Chapter 30 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 2000, the Nova Scotia Business Incorporated Act, and the Nova Scotia Business Incorporated Financial Assistance Regulations, N.S. Reg. 133/2001 made by the Governor in Council by Order in Council 2001-525 dated November 6, 2001, and to Sections 2(1)(o), 9(3) and 9(4) and Sections 59A(

a) and 59C(1) of

Chapter 365 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Provincial Finance Act, is pleased to: (

a) approve financial assistance by way of a payroll rebate to Crossley Carpet Mills Limited, in an amount not to exceed $2,800,000, authorized by the Board of Directors of Nova Scotia Business Incorporated on July 21, 2004, as outlined in the Report and Recommendation of the Minister of Economic Development dated July 21, 2004; and (

b) authorize the Minister of Economic Development to execute such agreements, documents and instruments as may be required to give effect to this Order.
