OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Labour dated February 16, 1999, pursuant to

Section 16 of

Chapter 475 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Trade Union Act,

Section 9 of

Chapter 1 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1995, the Education Act,

Section 20 of

Chapter 15 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1995-96, the Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre Act,

Section 12 of

Chapter 16 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1995-96, the Regional Municipalities Act,

Section 41 of

Chapter 4 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1995-96, the Community Colleges Act, and

Section 18 of

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the

Interpretation Act, is pleased to: (

a) appoint Michael Williams of Dartmouth, Halifax Regional Municipality, as an alternate member of the Labour Relations Board (Nova Scotia) for a term of office of three years commencing May 5, 1999; and (

b) fix the remuneration of Michael Williams at a rate of $150.00 per day for each day he attends a meeting of the Labour Relations Board (Nova Scotia), in addition to actual and reasonable expenses as may be incurred by him in the discharge of his duties.
