I, Tamara Davidson, Minister of Environment and Parks, order that, effective January 30, 2026, the BC Parks Recreation User Fees Regulation, B.C. Reg. 136/2009, is amended as set out in the attached Schedule.

Schedule

Section 1 of the BC Parks Recreation User Fees Regulation, B.C. Reg. 136/2009, is amended in the definition of "senior" by striking out " resident of the Province " and substituting " resident of British Columbia ".

Section 3 is amended

(

a) by renumbering the

section as subsection (1),

(

b) by striking out " The fee ranges " and substituting " Unless

section 4 applies in relation to a park or service, the fees or fee ranges ",

(

c) in the heading of column 2 of table 1 by striking out " Fee range " and substituting " Fee or fee range ",

(

d) in column 2 of item 1 of table 1 by striking out " $5 – $35 " and substituting " $5 – $51 ",

(

e) in column 2 of item 2 of table 1 by striking out " $5 – $10 " and substituting " $5 – $25 ", and

(

f) by adding the following subsection:

(2) In addition to the fee payable under subsection (1), a fee in the range set out in Column 2 of Table 1.1 for the use set out in Column 1 is payable by a person who is not a resident of British Columbia.
