Order in Council 376/2019

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to subsection 17(1) of the Police Services Act , as amended,

Gary James Couture

be reappointed as Commissioner of the Ontario Provincial Police, effective from the 14th day of March 2019, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period not exceeding the earlier of 60 days, or the start date of a full-term Commissioner as established by the Minister of Community Safety and Correctional Services pursuant to Order In Council 375/2019.
