OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health and Wellness dated February 25, 2021, and pursuant to subsection 127(1) of
Chapter 4 of the Acts of 1994-95, the Gaming Control Act , is pleased, effective on and after March 30, 2021, to (
a) repeal the Gambling Awareness Foundation of Nova Scotia Regulations , N.S. Reg. 26/1998, made by the Governor in Council by Order in Council 98-109 dated March 19, 1998; and (
b) direct that a reference to the Gambling Awareness Foundation of Nova Scotia or to its previous name the Nova Scotia Gaming Foundation in any agreement or document shall be held and construed to be a reference to Her Majesty the Queen in right of the Province of Nova Scotia as represented by the Minister of Health and Wellness.
