OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Community Services dated September 29, 2000, pursuant to Sections 5, 6, 9, 17 and 20 of

Chapter 211 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Housing Act, is pleased: (

a) to approve the Land Assembly Servicing and Development Capital Projects in the Province as set forth in

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation for the fiscal year 2000 01 (the "Projects"); (

b) to authorize the Minister of Community Services to (

i) expend sums not exceeding $1 940 000.00 for the fiscal year 2000 01 from the available balance in the Housing Development Corporation for the purpose of carrying out the Projects; (ii) enter into and execute such agreements and instruments as may be required to carry out the Projects approved by this Order, such agreements to be subject to the approval of the Department of Justice; (iii) acquire or dispose of any estate or interest in real and personal property as may be required to carry out the Projects approved by this Order; and (iv) engage the services of such professional and technical experts and persons as may be required to carry out the Projects approved by this Order.
