OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the President of the Executive Council dated June 14, 2017, and pursuant to
Section 4 of
Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act , is pleased, effective June 15, 2017, to: (
a) revoke Order in Council 2015-245 dated July 24, 2015; (
b) assign responsibility for the Insurance Act and the Insurance Premiums Tax Act to the Minister of Finance and Treasury Board, who may also be described as the Minister responsible for the Insurance Act and the Insurance Premiums Tax Act ; and (
c) direct that for administration purposes, all matters relating to the Insurance Act and the Insurance Premiums Tax Act be attached to the Department of Finance and Treasury Board.
