Statute: Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal dated July 16, 2015, and pursuant to

Section 11 of

Chapter 452 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act , is pleased to: (

a) approve the disposal and conveyance of an interest in certain lands to the Parrsborough Shore Historical Society, the said lands being located at or near Parrsboro, County of Cumberland, being “Lot A” containing 2.56 acres, more or less, and “Lot B” containing 1.28 acres, more or less, as more particularly described in

Schedule “A” and shown on

Schedule “B” which Schedules are attached to and form part of the Report and Recommendation, for a nominal consideration of one dollar ($1.00); (

b) approve the disposal of an interest in certain lands by a grant of easement to the Parrsborough Shore Historical Society, the said lands being located at or near Parrsboro, County of Cumberland, and more particularly shown as “Lot D” and a portion of “Lot C” on

Schedule “B” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation for a nominal consideration of one dollar ($1.00); and (

c) approve the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal executing a deed of conveyance and grant of easement to the Parrsborough Shore Historical Society in such form as the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal determines to effect the disposal and conveyance of the lands hereinabove described.
