B.C. Reg. 96/2006, deposited April 27, 2006, pursuant to the COURT RULES ACT [Section 1]. Order in Council 276/2006, approved and ordered April 27, 2006.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, made after consultation with the Chief Judge of the Provincial Court, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that, effective May 1, 2006, B.C. Reg. 417/98, the Provincial Court (Family) Rules, is amended

1 in Rule 21

(

a) in subrule (1) by repealing the definition of "designated registry"

and substituting the following:

"designated registry" means the following registries: Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Kamloops, Kelowna, Nanaimo, New Westminster, North Vancouver, Port Coquitlam, Prince George, Richmond, Surrey, Vancouver (Robson Square) and Victoria; , and

(

b) by repealing subrule (4) (

d) and substituting the following:

d) the application is made under the Interjurisdictional Support Orders Act .

2 in Form 31

(

a) in Item 5 immediately before the heading "PLEASE TURN THIS FORM OVER TO SEE WHAT OTHER EXEMPTIONS MAY APPLY TO YOUR CASE"

by striking out "Part 8 of the Family Relations Act , Reciprocal Enforcement of Maintenance Orders provisions." and substituting "the Interjurisdictional Support Orders Act ." , and

(

b) after the heading "PARENTING AFTER SEPARATION PROGRAM NOTICE OF REQUIREMENT AND EXEMPTION FORM" by striking out "in the Abbotsford, Kamloops, Kelowna, Nanaimo, New Westminster, Port Coquitlam, Prince George, Surrey, Vancouver (Robson Square) or Victoria Registry of the Provincial Court," in both places and substituting "in the Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Kamloops, Kelowna, Nanaimo, New Westminster, North Vancouver, Port Coquitlam, Prince George, Richmond, Surrey, Vancouver (Robson Square) or Victoria registry of the Provincial Court,".
