OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal dated July 4 , 2012, and pursuant to

Section 6 of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act , and pursuant to

Section 77 of

Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2010, the Finance Act , is pleased to: (

a) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal to enter into an Administrative Agreement with The Canadian Transportation Accident Investigation and Safety Board (the "TSB") with respect to railway accident investigations and inquiries to be undertaken under the Railways Act substantially in the form set out in

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation; and (

b) authorize the entering into of the net debt obligation created under the Administrative Agreement referred to in paragraph (

a) including the requirement to reimburse reasonable costs incurred by the TSB under the Agreement and the indemnity provided to the TSB in the Agreement.
