Order in Council 727/2020

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to subsection 169(1) of the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, 1997,

Ernst & Young LLP , Toronto

is hereby appointed auditor of the accounts of the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board until the end of June 30, 2025 for the purpose of conducting the audit of accounts for the fiscal years 2020 through 2024, inclusively, under the direction of the Auditor General.

Furthermore, Order in Council numbered O.C. 1703/2013 dated November 27, 2013 is revoked.

This Order in Council is effective from the “Approved and Ordered” date below.
