1 The Fur Farms Regulation (AR 299/96) is amended by

this Regulation.

Section 4 is amended by striking out "March 31, 2020" and

substituting "March 31, 2025".

Alberta Health Care Insurance Act

BLUE CROSS AGREEMENT (DEPENDANTS)

AMENDMENT REGULATION

section 41 of the Alberta Health Care Insurance Act.

1 The Blue Cross Agreement Regulation (AR 77/2006) is

amended by this Regulation.

Section 1 is amended by adding the following after

clause (e):

(f) "senior" means a person who is 65 years of age or older.

3 The following is added after

section 2:

Part 2 members

2.1(1) If a resident has a dependant whose membership as a non-

group member of the Alberta Blue Cross Plan has been cancelled

pursuant to

section 10.1, the resident may apply to the Minister to

enrol the dependant as a non-group member under this Part.

(2) If a resident has applied to the Minister under subsection (1) to

enrol a dependant as a non-group member, the effective date of

membership of an applicant's dependant is

(

a) March 1, 2020, if the application is made no later than

August 31, 2020, or

(

b) the first day of the 4th month following the date of

receipt, if the application is made after August 31,

Section 10 is amended

(

a) by repealing subsection (1) and substituting the

following:

Enrolment of seniors

10(1) If a resident is a senior, the Minister shall enrol the

resident as a non-group member of the Alberta Blue Cross

Plan.

(

b) in subsection (2)(

a) by striking out ", spouse or adult

interdependent partner is 65 years of age or older" and

substituting "is a senior";

(

c) in subsection (2)(

b) and (

c) by striking out ", spouse

or adult interdependent partner" wherever it appears;

(

d) in subsection (3) by striking out ", spouse or adult

interdependent partner who is 65 years of age or older".

5 The following is added after

section 10:

Cancellation of dependant membership

10.1 If a person who is not a senior was enrolled as a non-

group member of the Alberta Blue Cross Plan under this Part

prior to March 1, 2020, as a dependant of a resident who is a

senior, the Minister shall cancel the non-group membership of

the person who is not a senior and the cancellation shall be

effective March 1, 2020.

6 The Blue Cross Agreement Amendment Regulation

(AR 194/2019) is amended by repealing

section 2.

7 Sections 2, 3, 4 and 5 of this Regulation have effect on

March 1, 2020.

Alberta Indigenous Opportunities Corporation Act

AUTHORIZED NATURAL RESOURCE SECTORS REGULATION

Authorized natural resource sectors

1(1) This Regulation identifies the natural resource projects and

related infrastructure that fall within the mandate of the Corporation

for the purposes of the Act.

(2) The only natural resource projects and related infrastructure that

fall within the mandate of the Corporation are projects and related

infrastructure in the following industries:

(

a) energy;

(

b) mining;

(

c) forestry.

Expiry

2 For the purposes of ensuring that this Regulation is reviewed for

ongoing relevancy and necessity, with the option that it may be

repassed in its present or an amended form following a review, this

Regulation expires on December 1, 2024.

Marketing of Agricultural Products Act

POTATO GROWERS OF ALBERTA COMMISSION

AMENDMENT REGULATION

2019 pursuant to

section 26 of the Marketing of Agricultural Products Act and

approved by the Agricultural Products Marketing Council on December 13, 2019 .

1 The Potato Growers of Alberta Commission Regulation

(AR 277/98) is amended by this Regulation.

Section 8 is amended

(

a) by repealing subsection (1) and substituting the

following:

Service charge

8(1) A licensed producer who sells or transfers potatoes to any

person or entity must pay to the Commission a service charge at

the rate set annually by the Commission for net marketable

product of

(

a) up to $0.07 for each 100 pounds of potatoes sold for

processing, and

(

b) up to $0.02 for each 100 pounds of culled potatoes sold

for processing.

(

b) by repealing subsection (1.1) and substituting the

following:

(1.1) A licensed producer who sells or transfers potatoes to any

person or entity must pay to the Commission a service charge at

the rate set annually by the Commission of

(

a) up to $25.00 per harvested acre produced for table use,

(

b) up to $35.00 per certified harvested seed acre, and

(

c) up to 0.75% of annual gross income, sales or transfers

of plantlets or potatoes derived from an undertaking

consisting of a facility or operation of one or more

laboratory greenhouses.

(

c) in subsections (2.1)(a), (2.11)(

a) and (2.2)(

a) by

striking out "subsection (1)" and substituting

"subsection (1.1)";

(

d) in subsection (6)(

a) by striking out " $0.01" and

substituting "1/6".
