Order in Council 1269/2020

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas Katie Osborne was appointed as full-time member and Associate Chair of the Landlord and Tenant Board for a fixed term of two years, effective August 29, 2019, by Order in Council O.C. 1239/2019;

And

whereas Katie Osborne was appointed as part-time member and Associate Chair of the Animal Care Review Board for a fixed term of five years, effective September 28, 2016, by Order in Council O.C. 1382/2016;

And

whereas Katie Osborne was appointed as part-time member and Associate Chair of the Fire Safety Commission for a fixed term of five years, effective September 28, 2016, by Order in Council O.C. 1383/2016;

And

whereas Katie Osborne was reappointed as part-time member and Vice Chair of the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario for a fixed term effective January 1, 2020 and ending September 27, 2021, by Order in Council O.C. 1833/2019;

And

whereas Katie Osborne was appointed as part-time member and Vice Chair of the Licence Appeal Tribunal for a fixed term effective January 8, 2018 and ending September 7, 2020, by Order in Council O.C. 10/2018;

And

whereas Katie Osborne was appointed as part-time member and Vice Chair of the Ontario Civilian Police Commission for a fixed term effective January 8, 2018 and ending September 7, 2020, by Order in Council O.C. 14/2018;

And

whereas Katie Osborne was appointed as part-time member and Vice Chair of the Ontario Parole Board for a fixed term effective January 8, 2018 and ending September 7, 2020, by Order in Council O.C. 18/2018;

And

whereas Katie Osborne tendered her resignation effective June 15, 2020;

Therefore, pursuant to subsections 16(2) and 16(4) of the Adjudicative Tribunals Accountability, Governance and Appointments Act, 2009 , subsection 169(1) of the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006 , subsection 37(2) of the Provincial Animal Welfare Services Act, 2019 , subsection 58(2) of the Fire Protection and Prevention Act, 1997 , subsection 32(2) of the Human Rights Code , subsection 2(3) of the Licence Appeal Tribunal Act, 1999 , subsection 21(2) of the Police Services Act , subsection 32(2) of the Ministry of Correctional Services Act ,

section 3 of the Assessment Review Board Act , subsection 27(1) of the Expropriations Act , subsection 24(1) of the Ontario Heritage Act , subsection 1(2) of the Environmental Review Tribunal Act, 2000 , subsection 3(1) of the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal Act, 2017 , subsection 6(2) of the Ministry of Natural Resources Act , subsections 333(2) and 151(2) of the Child, Youth and Family Services Act, 2017 , subsection 3(1) of the Compensation for Victims of Crime Act , subsection 57(1.1) of the Education Act and subsection 61(1) of the Ontario Works Act, 1997 , Orders in Council O.C. 1239/2019, 1382/2016, 1383/2016, 1833/2019, 10/2018, 18/2018, 14/2018 and 16/2020 be revoked effective June 15, 2020.
