Order in Council 2148/2017

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas by Order in Council numbered O.C. 1434/2008, dated August 21, 2008, Dr. Yaacov M. Markus was appointed as a Coroner for Ontario, subject to the condition that he remain ordinarily resident in Area Number 9;

And

Whereas Dr. Yaacov M. Markus currently ordinarily resides in Area Number 16, nullifying his appointment as a Coroner for Ontario;

And

Whereas it is desirable that Dr. Yaacov M. Markus continue to act as a Coroner for Ontario;

Therefore pursuant to

section 3 of the Coroners Act, as amended, Dr. Yaacov M. Markus be appointed as a Coroner for Ontario effective from the date of this Order in Council, subject to the condition that he remain ordinarily resident in Area Number 16, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council;

And that Order in Council numbered O.C. 1434/2008, dated August 21, 2008, be revoked effective the date of this Order in Council.
