Order in Council 117/2019

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to subsection 8(1) of the Fire Protection and Prevention Act, 1997 , as amended,

Jonathan Fredrick Pegg

be appointed as the Fire Marshal of Ontario, effective from the 19 th day of February 2019, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period not to exceed nine months;

and that Order in Council numbered O.C. 1930/2017, dated September 27, 2017, reappointing David Ross Nichols as the Fire Marshal of Ontario, be revoked effective the 19 th day of February 2019.
