RAILWAY AMENDMENT REGULATION

1 The Railway Amendment Regulation (AR 171/2022) is

amended by this Regulation.

Section 10 is amended by striking out "Red Tape

Reduction Implementation Act, 2022" and substituting "Red

Tape Reduction Statutes Amendment Act, 2022".

MARKETING OF AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS ACT

(PLAN REGULATIONS) AMENDMENT REGULATION

Economic Development (M.O. 028/2022) on August 24, 2022 pursuant to

section 23

of the Marketing of Agricultural Products Act.

1(1) The Alberta Barley Plan Regulation (AR 111/99) is

amended by this section.

(2) Section 9 is amended by striking out "For the purposes of

enabling the Commission to operate this Plan, the Commission may be

empowered by the Council, pursuant to

section 26 of the Act, to make

regulations" and substituting "The Commission is authorized under

section 26(1) of the Act to make, with the approval of the Council,

regulations".

2(1) The Alberta Beef Producers Plan Regulation

(AR 286/2009) is amended by this section.

(2) Section 4.1(1) is amended by striking out "For the purposes

of enabling the Commission to operate this Plan, the Commission may

be empowered by the Council, pursuant to

section 26 of the Act, to

make regulations" and substituting "The Commission is authorized

under

section 26(1) of the Act to make, with the approval of the

Council, regulations".

3(1) The Alberta Beekeepers Commission Plan Regulation

(AR 91/2022) is amended by this section.

(2) Section 11(1) is amended by striking out "For the purposes

of enabling the Commission to operate the Plan, the Commission may

be empowered by the Council, pursuant to

section 26 of the Act, to

make regulations" and substituting "The Commission is authorized

under

section 26(1) of the Act to make, with the approval of the

Council, regulations".

4(1) The Alberta Canola Producers Marketing Plan

Regulation (AR 108/98) is amended by this section.

(2) Section 9 is amended by striking out "For the purposes of

enabling the Commission to operate the Plan, the Commission may be

authorized by the Council to make regulations" and substituting

"The Commission is authorized under

section 26(1) of the Act to

make, with the approval of the Council, regulations".

5(1) The Alberta Chicken Producers' Plan Regulation

(AR 70/93) is amended by this section.

(2) Section 9(1) is amended by striking out "For the purposes

of enabling the Board to operate this Plan, the Board may be

empowered by the Council, pursuant to

section 26 of the Act, to make

regulations" and substituting "The Board is authorized under

section 26(1) of the Act to make, with the approval of the Council,

regulations".

(3) Section 9(2) is amended by striking out "For the purposes

of enabling the Board to operate this Plan, the Board may be

empowered by the Council, pursuant to

section 27(1) of the Act, to

make regulations" and substituting "The Board is authorized under

section 27(1) of the Act to make, with the approval of the Council,

regulations".

6(1) The Alberta Elk Plan Regulation (AR 210/2002) is

amended by this section.

(2) Section 9 is amended by striking out "For the purposes of

enabling the Commission to operate this Plan, the Commission may be

empowered by the Council, pursuant to

section 26 of the Act, to make

regulations" and substituting "The Commission is authorized under

section 26(1) of the Act to make, with the approval of the Council,

regulations".

7(1) The Alberta Hatching Egg Plan Regulation (AR 283/96)

is amended by this section.

(2) Section 8(1) is amended by striking out "For the purposes

of enabling the Board to operate this Plan, the Board may be

empowered by the Council, pursuant to

section 26 of the Act, to make

regulations" and substituting "The Board is authorized under

section 26(1) of the Act to make, with the approval of the Council,

regulations".

(3) Section 8(2) is amended by striking out "For the purposes

of enabling the Board to operate this Plan, the Board may be

empowered by the Council, pursuant to

section 27(1) of the Act, to

make regulations" and substituting "The Board is authorized under

section 27(1) of the Act to make, with the approval of the Council,

regulations".

8(1) The Alberta Lamb Producers Plan Regulation

(AR 152/2022) is amended by this section.

(2) Section 9 is amended by striking out "For the purposes of

enabling the Commission to operate the Plan, the Commission may be

empowered by the Council, pursuant to

section 26 of the Act, to make

regulations" and substituting "The Commission is authorized under

section 26(1) of the Act to make, with the approval of the Council,

regulations".

9(1) The Alberta Milk Plan Regulation (AR 28/2022) is

amended by this section.

(2) Section 9(1) is amended by striking out "For the purposes

of enabling Alberta Milk to operate the plan, Alberta Milk may be

empowered by the Council, pursuant to

section 26 of the Act, to make

regulations" and substituting "Alberta Milk is authorized under

section 26(1) of the Act to make, with the approval of the Council,

regulations".

(3) Section 9(2) is amended by striking out "For the purposes

of enabling Alberta Milk to operate the plan, Alberta Milk may be

empowered by the Council, pursuant to

section 27(1) of the Act, to

make regulations" and substituting "Alberta Milk is authorized

under

section 27(1) of the Act to make, with the approval of the

Council, regulations".

10(1) The Alberta Oat Growers Commission Plan

Regulation (AR 151/2022) is amended by this section.

(2) Section 9 is amended by striking out "For the purposes of

enabling the Commission to operate the Plan, the Commission may be

empowered by the Council, pursuant to

section 26 of the Act, to make

regulations" and substituting "The Commission is authorized under

section 26(1) of the Act to make, with the approval of the Council,

regulations".

11(1) The Alberta Peace Region Forage Seed Growers Plan

Regulation (AR 91/2004) is amended by this section.

(2) Section 9 is amended by striking out "For the purposes of

enabling the Commission to operate this Plan, the Commission may be

empowered by the Council, pursuant to

section 26 of the Act, to make

regulations" and substituting "The Commission is authorized under

section 26(1) of the Act to make, with the approval of the Council,

regulations".

12(1) The Alberta Pork Producers' Plan Regulation

(AR 219/2001) is amended by this section.

(2) Section 9 is amended by striking out "For the purpose of

enabling the Corporation to operate this Plan, the Corporation may be

empowered by the Council with the approval of the Minister to make

regulations pursuant to

section 26 of the Act" and substituting "The

Corporation is authorized under

section 26(1) of the Act to make, with

the approval of the Council, regulations".

13(1) The Alberta Pulse Growers Marketing Plan Regulation

(AR 120/99) is amended by this section.

(2) Section 9 is amended by striking out "For the purposes of

enabling the Commission to operate the Plan, the Commission may be

empowered by the Council, pursuant to

section 26 of the Act, to make

regulations" and substituting "The Commission is authorized under

section 26(1) of the Act to make, with the approval of the Council,

regulations".

14(1) The Alberta Vegetable Growers (Processing) Plan

Regulation (AR 273/97) is amended by this section.

(2) Section 9(1) is amended by striking out "For the purposes

of enabling the Board to operate the Plan, the Board may be

empowered by the Council, pursuant to

section 26 of the Act, to make

regulations" and substituting "The Board is authorized under

section 26(1) of the Act to make, with the approval of the Council,

regulations".

(3) Section 9(2) is amended by striking out "For the purposes

make regulations" and substituting "The Board is authorized under

15(1) The Alberta Wheat Commission Plan Regulation

(AR 134/2012) is amended by this section.

(2) Section 9 is amended by striking out "For the purposes of

enabling the Commission to operate this Plan, the Commission may be

empowered by the Council, pursuant to

section 26 of the Act, to make

regulations" and substituting "The Commission is authorized under

section 26(1) of the Act to make, with the approval of the Council,

regulations".

16(1) The Alfalfa Seed Plan Regulation (AR 181/2009) is

amended by this section.

(2) Section 6.1 is amended by striking out "For the purposes of

enabling the Commission to operate the Plan, the Commission may be

empowered by the Council, pursuant to

section 26 of the Act, to make

regulations" and substituting "The Commission is authorized under

section 26(1) of the Act to make, with the approval of the Council,

regulations".

17(1) The Egg Farmers of Alberta Plan Regulation

(AR 26/2022) is amended by this section.

(2) Section 9(1) is amended by striking out "For the purposes

of enabling the Board to operate this Plan, the Board may be

empowered by the Council, pursuant to

section 26 of the Act, to make

regulations" and substituting "The Board is authorized under

section 26(1) of the Act to make, with the approval of the Council,

regulations".

(3) Section 9(2) is amended by striking out "For the purposes

18(1) The Potato Growers of Alberta Plan Regulation

(AR 291/2002) is amended by this section.

(2) Section 10 is amended by striking out "For the purposes of

19(1) The Sugar Beet Marketing Plan Regulation

(AR 275/97) is amended by this section.

(2) Section 9(1) is amended by striking out "For the purpose of

enabling the Board to operate this Plan, the Board is empowered by the

Council, pursuant to

section 26 of the Act, to make regulations" and

substituting "The Board is authorized under

section 26(1) of the Act

to make, with the approval of the Council, regulations".

(3) Section 9(2) is amended by striking out "For the purposes

of enabling the Board to operate this Plan, the Board may be

empowered by the Council, pursuant to

section 27(1) of the Act, to

make regulations" and substituting "The Board is authorized under

20(1) The Turkey Producers Plan Regulation (AR 29/2022)

is amended by this section.

(2) Section 9(1) is amended by striking out "For the purposes

regulations" and substituting "The Board is authorized under
