B.C. Reg. 120/2003, deposited March 28, 2003, pursuant to the FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS ACT [Section 289]. Order in Council 287/2003, approved and ordered March 28, 2003.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that, effective April 1, 2003, the Inactive Deposit Regulation, B.C. Reg. 322/90, is amended as follows:

Section 1 is repealed and replaced with the following:

Definitions

1 In this regulation:

"Act" means the Financial Institutions Act ;

"administrator" has the same meaning as in the Unclaimed Property

Act .

2 Sections 2.1 and 3 (

b) are amended by striking out "Minister of Finance and Corporate Relations" and substituting "administrator".

3 Sections 2.1 and 3 (

b) are amended by striking out "that Minister." and substituting "the administrator." — G. COLLINS, Minister of Finance; G. CAMPBELL, Presiding Member of the Executive Council.
