Order in Council 1584/2023

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

writs be issued for a by-election to be held in the Electoral District of Kitchener Centre rendered necessary because of the resignation of Laura Mae Lindo, member for the said electoral district,

the day for the close of nominations and the grant of a poll where required shall be Thursday, November 16, 2023;

the day for the taking of a poll shall be Thursday, November 30, 2023.

This order is made under

section 9.1 of the Election Act.
