OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice dated January 28, 2014, and pursuant to

Section 672.38 of

Chapter C-46 of the Revised Statutes of Canada, 1985, the Criminal Code , is pleased, effective February 25, 2014 to: (

a) appoint Dr. Shelley L. Goodwin, Yarmouth, Yarmouth County, as a member of the Nova Scotia Criminal Code Review Board for a term of three years; (

b) determine the remuneration of Dr. Shelley L. Goodwin be at the rate of $75.00 per hour, plus reasonable expenses; and (

c) order that the Province shall defend, negotiate or settle claims or charges made against Dr. Shelley L. Goodwin and indemnify her from personal liability provided the Province is satisfied the claim arises out of her activities in relation to her appointment and is not based on fraud or criminal activity and where the Province so defends her, the Province will be in control of the case.
