Statute: Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal dated August 23, 2016, and pursuant to

Section 11 of

Chapter 452 of the Revised Statues of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act , is pleased to: (

a) authorize the disposal and conveyance of certain lands to West Bedford Holdings Limited, the said lands being located at or near 200 Innovation Drive, Bedford, Halifax County and containing 2 acres, more or less, shown as “Option Parcel” on

Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, in exchange for a parcel of land containing 2 acres, more or less, shown as “Proposed Parking Area” on

Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, on the terms and conditions of an agreement of purchase and sale which are agreeable to the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal, for the nominal consideration of $1 .00; (

b) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal to make and execute a Deed of Conveyance in such form as the Minister determines to effect the conveyance of the lands herein above described; and (

c) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal to execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
