OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal dated January 9, 2008, and pursuant to

Section 11 of

Chapter 452 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act, is pleased to: (

a) lease to the Halifax Regional Municipality certain lands containing 9.74 acres, more or less, located on the southeastern side of Mount Hope Avenue, Dartmouth, and comprised of Lot M-1 (3.85 acres) and Lot M-4 (5.89 acres), described in the attached

Schedule "A" and outlined in red on

Schedule "B", which schedules are attached to and form part of the report and recommendation, for a period of ten (10) years, with an option to renew the Lease for an additional ten (10) years, at an aggregate rental rate of $1.00 for the term of the Lease and the renewal period, and on such other terms as are satisfactory to the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal, for the purpose of allowing the Halifax Regional Municipality to operate two (2) ball fields and a lawn bowling facility; (

b) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal to make and execute a Lease Agreement in such form as the Minister determines.
