Loi sur la police Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as fol- lows: Sa Majesté, sur l’avis et avec le consentement de l’As- semblée législative du Nouveau-Brunswick, édicte : 1

Section of the Police Act,

chapter P-9.2 of the Acts of New Brunswick, 1977, is amended L’article de la

Loi sur la police,

chapitre P-9.2 des Lois du Nouveau-Brunswick de 1977, est modifié : (

a) in subsection (6) by striking out “three years” and substituting “four years”;

a) au paragraphe (6), par la suppression de « trois ans » et son remplacement par « quatre ans »; (

b) by repealing subsection (6.1) and substituting the following:

b) par l’abrogation du paragraphe (6.1) et son rem- placement par ce qui suit : 7(6.1) A member of a board may be reappointed but a member shall not serve in that capacity for more than a total of ten years. 7(6.1) Le mandat d’un membre d’un comité peut être renouvelé pour une période totale maximale de dix ans. 2

Section 17.05 of the Act is amended L’article 17.05 de la Loi est modifié (

a) in subsection (4) by striking out “three years” and substituting “four years”;

a) au paragraphe (4), par la suppression de « trois ans » et son remplacement par « quatre ans »; (

b) by repealing subsection (5) and substituting the following:

b) par l’abrogation du paragraphe (5) et son rem- placement par ce qui suit : 17.05(5) A member of a regional policing authority may be reappointed but a member shall not serve in that capa- city for more than a total of ten years. 17.05(5) Le mandat d’un membre d’une autorité régio- nale responsable du maintien de l’ordre peut être renou- velé pour une période totale maximale de dix ans. 3

Section 17.2 of the Act is amended L’article 17.2 de la Loi est modifié 1 (

a) in subsection (5) by striking out “three years” and substituting “four years”;

b) by repealing subsection (5.1) and substituting the following:
