OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal dated May 1, 2008, pursuant to

Section 18 of

Chapter 371 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Highways Act, is pleased to: (

a) extinguish the right of the public to use that portion of the public highway system containing 2,296 square feet, more or less, situate at or near Melville, County of Pictou, and more particularly described in

Schedule "A" as shown crosshatched in red on

Schedule "B" which schedules are attached to and form part of the report and recommendation; (

b) transfer the administration and control of the land to Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada as represented by the Minister of Fisheries and Oceans, for the price of $1.00; and (

c) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal to make and execute Transfer of Administration and Control in such form as the Minister determines.
