EXPLANATORY NOTES

This Bill would amend the Revenue Administration Act to reduce the

tax on certain grades of gasoline by 2 cents per litre.

Be it enacted by the Lieutenant-Governor and

House of Assembly in Legislative Session convened, as follows:

SNL2009 cR-15.01

as amended

1. Paragraph 51(

e) of the Revenue Administration Act is repealed and the following

substituted:

e) on all other grades of gasoline, a tax of

$0.145 per litre.
