CHAPTER

An Act to amend The Power Corporation Act (Assented to June 11, 1998) HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, enacts as follows:

Short title This Act may be cited as The Power Corporation Amendment Act, 1998 . R.S.S. 1978, c.P-19,

section amended 2(1)

Section of The Power Corporation Act is amended in the manner set forth in this section. (2) Subsection 36(1) is amended: (

a) by striking out “yearly or half-yearly payment” and substituting “monthly payment”; and (

b) by striking out “ yearly or half-yearly as may be mutually agreed” and substituting “monthly or as the parties otherwise agree ”. (3) Subsection 36(2) is amended: (

a) by striking out “yearly or half-yearly payment” and substituting “monthly payment”; and (

b) by striking out “ yearly or half-yearly as may be mutually agreed” and substituting “monthly or as the parties otherwise agree ”. Coming into force This Act comes into force on assent but is retroactive and is deemed to have been in force on and from October 1, 1997.
