OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Education dated March 3, 2005, and pursuant to
Section 1 of
Chapter 104 of the Acts of 1935,
An Act Relating to Dalhousie College, is pleased to: (
a) reappoint the following persons as members of the Board of Governors of Dalhousie University, each for a term of office commencing March 31, 2005 and ending June 30, 2005: The Honourable Lorne O. Clarke, O.C., Q.C., of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality; Murray Coolican of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality; Daurene Lewis of Bedford, Halifax Regional Municipality; (
b) appoint Don Mills of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a member of the Board of Governors of Dalhousie University for a term of office commencing March 31, 2005 and ending June 30, 2005; (
c) reappoint James S. Cowan of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality as a member of the Board of Governors of Dalhousie University for a term of office commencing March 31, 2005 and ending June 30, 2006; (
d) appoint the following persons as members of the Board of Governors of Dalhousie University, each for a term of office commencing March 31, 2005 and ending June 30, 2006: Elizabeth Beale of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality; Jay Forbes of St. John, Saint John County, New Brunswick; (
e) reappoint the following persons as members of the Board of Governors of Dalhousie University, each for a term of office commencing March 31, 2005 and ending June 30, 2007: Alasdair MacLean Sinclair of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality; Jim Spatz of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality; Bruce Towler of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality; (
f) appoint the following persons as members of the Board of Governors of Dalhousie University, each for a term of office commencing March 31, 2005 and ending June 30, 2007: William Black of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality; Robert Chisholm of Porters Lake, Halifax Regional Municipality; and (
g) appoint Jamie Baillie of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a member of the Board of Governors of Dalhousie University for a term of office commencing March 31, 2005 and ending June 30, 2008.
