1993 BILL First Session, 23rd Legislature, 42 Elizabeth II THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF ALBERTA BILL LIQUOR CONTROL AMENDMENT ACT, 1993 MR. FISCHER First Reading Second Reading Committee of the Whole Third Reading Royal Assent Title: 1993 (23rd, 1st) Bill 223, Liquor Control Amendment Act, 1993 Bill Mr. Fischer BILL LIQUOR CONTROL AMENDMENT ACT, 1993 (Assented to , 1993) HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, enacts as follows: 1 The Liquor Control Act is amended by this Act. 2

Section is amended (1) by repealing subsection (1)(

a) and substituting the following: (a) "adult" means a person who has attained the age of 19 years; (2) by repealing subsection (1)(

l) and substituting the following: (l) "minor" means a person who has not attained the age of 19 years; 1 Exp lanatory Notes Amends

chapter L-17 of the Revised Statutes of Alberta, 1980. 2 Subsection 1(1)(

a) presently reads: (a) "adult" means an adult within the meaning of the Age of Majority Act; 3 Subsection 1(1)(
