Statute: Youth Secretariat Act Public Service Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the President of Executive Council dated March 27, 2008, and pursuant to

Section 4 of

Chapter 511 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Youth Secretariat Act, and

Section 4 of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act, is pleased, effective on and after April 1, 2008, to: (

a) revoke Order in Council 2001-330 dated July 13, 2001; (

b) assign the administration of the Youth Secretariat Act to the member of the Executive Council holding the office of the Minister of Community Services; (

c) direct that all affairs and matters for administrative purposes relating to the Youth Secretariat be attached to the Department of Community Services; and (

d) direct that all affairs and matters for administrative purposes relating to the Youth Advisory Council remain attached to the Department of Education.
