OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice dated January 10, 2023, and pursuant to Sections 3 and 4 of

Chapter 327 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Ombudsman Act, and

Section 10 of

Chapter 70 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Civil Service Act, is pleased, effective January 24, 2023, to: (

a) revoke clauses (b), (

c) and (

d) of Order in Council 2022-164 dated June 21, 2022; (

b) appoint Christine Brennan as Ombudsman for a five-year term of office at an annual salary, with any adjustments, as provided for in the employment contract; and (

c) designate Christine Brennan as a deputy head within the meaning of the Civil Service Act.
