OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health dated October 31, 2008, and pursuant to Sections 4 and 6 of
Chapter 18 of the Acts of 2006, the Midwifery Act, and
Section 8 of
Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the
Interpretation Act, is pleased to appoint the following persons as members of the Midwifery Regulatory Council of Nova Scotia, each for a term commencing November 25, 2008 and expiring on October 31, 2011: Evelyn Burns of Dartmouth, Halifax Regional Municipality; Joanne Hussey of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality; and Shauna O'Brien of Upper Tantallon, Halifax Regional Municipality.
