OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated August 22, 2002, and pursuant to

Section 7 of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act, is pleased to: (

a) authorize the Minister of Natural Resources to purchase on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen in right of the Province of Nova Scotia, a parcel of land containing approximately 50 acres, situate at Grand Lake, Sambro, Halifax County, from Eldon Kirk and Maynard Kirk, their heirs, executors, successors or assigns, for the purchase price of $110,000., subject to the condition that Eldon and Maynard Kirk be able to certify title to their lands in a manner deemed sufficient by the Department of Justice. This land is shown outlined in red on

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation; and (

b) authorize the Minister of Natural Resources to prepare and have executed such documents as may be required to achieve the purpose of this Order.
