La

Loi sur l'examen public des activités des corporati ons de la Couronne et l'obligation redditionnelle de ce lles-ci exige de la Société d'assurance publique du Manitob a qu'elle soumette annuellement à l'approbation de la Régie des services publics les tarifs qu'elle propose à l 'égard de l'assurance-automobile obligatoire qu'elle fournit. This Bill enhances the authority of the Board to co nsider whether the Corporation's activities other than pro viding compulsory driver and vehicle insurance may have an impact on those premium rates.

Manitoba Public Insurance is required to provide the Board with information about such activities, and the Board is required to take reasonable steps to maintain the confidenti ality of the information. a) all elements of insurance coverage affecting rates for services; and (

b) any financial aspect of the Corporation's insurance business or other corporate and business operations that the Board has reasonable grounds to believe may have an impact on rates for services. Société d'assurance publique du Manitoba 26(5) Dans le cas d'un examen visé à la présente

An intervener must comply with a non-disclosure requirement imposed on it by the Board.
