Statute: Labour Board Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Labour, Skills and Immigration dated December 21, 2022, and pursuant to Sections 3 and 6 of

Chapter 37 of the Acts of 2010, the Labour Board Act , is pleased to: (

a) appoint Andrew MacFarlane of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) as an employee representative member of the Labour Board for a term of two (2) years commencing January 24, 2023; (

b) appoint Brittany Colburn of Halifax Regional Municipality (Big Lake) and Robert Champagne of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) as employee representative members of the Labour Board, both for a term of three (3) years commencing January 24, 2023; (

c) reappoint Cordell Cole of Halifax Regional Municipality (Whites Lake), Deborah Ryan of Halifax Regional Municipality (Dartmouth), Jameal (Jack) Wall of Cape Breton Regional Municipality (North Sydney), and Jean Candy of Sweets Corner, Queens County, as employee representative members of the Labour Board, each for a term of three (3) years commencing January 24, 2023; (

d) reappoint Martin MacPhee of Cape Breton Regional Municipality (New Victoria) and Thomas Patterson of Halifax Regional Municipality (Dartmouth) as employee representative members of the Labour Board, both for a term of two (2) years commencing January 24, 2023; (

e) reappoint Adrian Morrison of Halifax Regional Municipality (Wellington), Allan Stapleton of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax), Connie Nolan of Belnan, Hants County, and Susan Power of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) as employer representative members of the Labour Board, each for a term of three (3) years commencing January 24, 2023; (

f) reappoint George Fox of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) and J. Gordon MacLean of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) as employer representative members of the Labour Board, both for a term of two (2) years commencing January 24, 2023; (

g) appoint Paul Dubé of Halifax Regional Municipality (Hammonds Plains) as an employer representative member of the Labour Board for a term of two (2) years commencing January 24, 2023; and (

h) reappoint Richard Anderson of Halifax Regional Municipality (Head of Chezzetcook) as an employer representative member of the Labour Board for a term of one (1) year commencing January 24, 2023.
