OIC Text: The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources and Renewables dated March 14, 2024, and pursuant to clause 7(

a) of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act, is pleased to approve the Minister of Natural Resources and Renewables: (

a) acquiring land totalling approximately 72 hectares (180 acres) located at Conrad Settlement, Musquodoboit Harbour, Halifax County, currently identified as PIDs 40090656 and 40307209, as shown outlined in bold on the map marked

Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, from Bradley Douglas Gilroy, or their executors, heirs, trustees, administrators and approved successors or assigns for the purchase price of $288,000.00 (plus HST, if applicable), subject to the condition that Bradley Douglas Gilroy or their executors, heirs, trustees, administrators and approved successors or assigns are able to certify title to the land in a manner deemed sufficient by the Department of Justice; and (

b) executing such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
