OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Finance with the advice of the Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture dated July 17, 1998, pursuant to subsection 59(4) of

Chapter 365 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Provincial Finance Act, and

Section 29 of

Chapter 25 of the Acts of 1996, the Fisheries and Coastal Resources Act, is pleased to: (

a) authorize financial assistance to Liscot Enterprises Incorporated, R.R.#1 Merigomish, Pictou County, by way of a guarantee to a chartered bank in such form as the Attorney General may approve in an amount not to exceed $45,000.00 in support of an operating line of credit for $50,000.00, on terms and conditions determined by the Nova Scotia Fisheries and Aquaculture Loan Board and set out in

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation; and (

b) authorize the Nova Scotia Fisheries and Aquaculture Loan Board to execute such guarantee and such other agreements and instruments as may be required to give effect to this Order.
