Interpretation Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Labour, Skills and Immigration, dated October 26, 2021, and pursuant to subsection 262(1) of

Chapter 10 of the Acts of 1994-95, the Workers’ Compensation Act , and clause 18(1)(

d) of

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the

Interpretation Act , is pleased to amend Order in Council 2008-217 dated April 22, 2008 by striking out “$7,840 per annum” in clause (

c) thereof and substituting “$370.89 bi-weekly (approximately $9,643 per annum), retroactive to April 1, 2021, subject to such increases to this amount that are consistent with any future economic adjustments that may be approved for the position of Workers’ Advisor, Solicitor III, MCL-26,”.
