Statute: Occupational Health and Safety Act Finance Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Labour and Workforce Development dated September 1, 2010, and pursuant to clause 75(1)(

b) of

Chapter 7 of the Acts of 1996, the Occupational Health and Safety Act, and clause 2(ac) and

Section 83 of

Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2010, the Finance Act, and clause 19(

f) of

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the

Interpretation Act, is pleased to amend Order in Council 2001-249 made by the Governor in Council dated May 11, 2001, by repealing clause (

c) and substituting the following clause: \x09"(c)\x09authorize disbursements to be made from the Occupational Health and Safety Public Education Trust Fund by any two persons occupying the following positions within the Department of Labour and Workforce Development: (

i) Deputy Minister, (ii) Executive Director of the Occupational Health and Safety Division, (iii) Provincial Director of Investigations, Technical and Internal Services, Occupational Health and Safety Division."
