OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the Report and Recommendation of the Minister of Economic and Rural Development and Tourism dated July 18, 2013, and pursuant to Order in Council 2005-373 dated August 19, 2005, which order authorizes Waterfront Development Corporation Limited to redevelop and revitalize the lands surrounding Halifax Harbour, and pursuant to

Section 77 of

Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2010, the Finance Act, is pleased to, effective August 29, 2013, (

a) authorize Waterfront Development Corporation Limited to enter into agreements for the development of lands on the Halifax waterfront with Southwest Properties/Minett Real Estate Services, in the form substantially as set out in

Schedule "A” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation of the Minister of Economic and Rural Development and Tourism; (

b) authorize Waterfront Development Corporation Limited to enter into the net debt obligations contained in the agreements referred to in paragraph (a); and (

c) authorize Waterfront Development Corporation Limited to enter into such agreements, documents and instruments as may be required to give effect to this Order.
